Grandview Plaza began its shop leasing and associates seeking in public since the end of October last year, and by the end of May this year about 800 shops had been leased, covering around 75% of the total area for rent. Mr. Wei-Min Chen, President of Grandview Enterprise, is so proud of it that he indicates to the journalists that it takes usually 2 years for the same type of plazas in other countries or in Taiwan to accomplish the shop leasing business, while for Grandview it just has taken so short as just 8 months.

It is said that Grandview Plaza might give its trial run in October this year..

 

Effective Leasing Policy

As Mr. Chen introduces, many clients keep a quite positive attitude towards the commercial environment and the great management team of Grandview.

 

It’s a critical moment now for the final rush of leasing business, it is estimated that by June the rest anchor shops could be settled down, and by the opening over 90% of shops would be leased.

 

The leasing strategy of Grandview Plaza used to embody a good combination of diverse brands. Their principle is: perfectly classifying commodities and target groups, focusing on high and middle class brands, with some major brands’ joining to lead in other brands.

 

So far they have confirmed the following renowned brands are fitting in:

Golden Ornaments and Jewelry: Chaw Tai Fook, Chaw Sheng Sheng, Luk Fook, Tse 瑞麟, 金至尊, etc.

Fashion: CK, Kenzo, Episode, Appleshop, Le Saunda, BaoDao Optical, 依波路, Goldlion, ??利, Nike, Adidas, etc.

Theme Stores: Watson’s, Manning, Book Store and Musical Instrument Store, ect.

 

Catering Section Be In Good Grances

As planned, about 30,000 square meters of Grandview Plaza’s total area would be for catering business. Recently 96.2%, which equals 28,000 square meters, have been leased. The confirmed brands include Haagandaz, Kosmo Coffee, KFC, PizzaHut, RBT, 元? Sushi, Dong Yue Restaurant, Dao Xiang Yuan Restaurant, Do-Me-Re Fried Chicken, etc.

The rest 1200 square meters have attracted its potential clients, too. It is estimated that the catering shops leasing could be accomplished by June.

 

Since the Plaza’s scale is large enough, to make it convenient for consumers and for the sake of the rational pedestrian flow guiding, the catering section is thus mostly set in 5/F and 6/F (77% of all), and only about 23% for such as leisure taking or distinctive western-styled restaurants in other floors. The point is to provide the costumers with a place to take a break and relax in each floor.
